No calibrations or maintenance are needed for up to 10 years, and the GRIDSCAN 5000 series is the lowest cost by thousands to any other available hydrogen DGA system. H2scan's GRIDSCAN 6000 breaks new ground in transformer monitoring, being the first in the market that combines four critical measurements; hydrogen, the first fault gas, moisture, pressure and temperature. The GRIDSCAN 6000 delivers continuous, real-time data, alerting asset managers to abnormal transformer conditions that may lead to catastrophic events. It delivers more capability than competitive monitors but at half the price. The AO2 provides local display functionality, supports external sensors such as load current and top oil temperature and also adds local alarming relay contacts. This helps operators correlate gassing with measurements that include load and transformer temperature.

The GSAO-1 Analog Output Module enables H2scan’s GRIDSCAN^® 5000 hydrogen sensors to integrate seamlessly with legacy monitoring and data acquisition systems that rely on analog signals, providing a cost-effective solution for retrofit applications. The GSAO-1 also provides a cyber security air-gap where IED’s cannot be interconnected digitally.
