About: Recent changes in building codes mean best practices have changed for standby battery systems in control houses. Those involved in solution specification must consider new technology to meet new standards. Engineers and asset managers are responsible for specifying and maintaining equipment that meets the standards to safeguard the facility and ensure updated code compliance. This session presents new considerations that address the changes in codes and regulations for battery systems and explains updated solutions in accordance with new requirements and standards.
This session is presented by Jeff Donato. Jeff Donato has over 25 years of sales and management experience in the industrial battery industry. Jeff is an active member of the IEEE Power & Energy Society and is the current chair of working group 1578 in the Energy Storage and Stationary Battery Committee (ESSB).Link: https://www.dynamicratings.com/event/building-code-impacts-on-control-house-battery-monitoring/
