A Note from H2scan CEO Dave Meyers

This past October, the Biden administration and Department of Energy announced that seven regional hydrogen hubs will receive a total of $7 billion in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding to accelerate the domestic market for low-cost, clean hydrogen. The seven hubs across 16 states will also be supported by more than $40 billion in private investment.

Critical to the success of these projects will be to ensure the safe and effective operation of these hydrogen hub facilities. The build out of the hubs will be managed by prime contractors who will be supported by an ecosystem of development partners and suppliers. H2scan has a long history supporting these partners and is a trusted resource to support sensing applications for the  production, distribution, and storage of clean hydrogen. We are excited about the opportunity to support this important initiative to transition the US toward a sustainable energy future.

H2scan's Free Webinar on Electrical Transformer Reliability

Last month, H2scan held a free on-demand webinar in which electric power reliability leaders Traci Hopkins and Leon White identified and reviewed some of the most common tools used to monitor and assess the health of transformer assets and discussed how to incorporate them to improve reliability plans.

We’ve summarized that conversation into a blog post. Read it to learn what tools should be in your transformer reliability toolbox.
